GRUESOME!!! Wow what a race. Tried to hang with Rory on the uphill but did not work out so great. He is very strong hill climber. Well after i made it to the top of the hill I tried to get moving but the quads were shot. I almost missed the turn to go down the downhill switch backs after tripping over branches I realized I was going the wrong way which I think made the trail open for other people to go the wrong way, sorry guys my bad. Well it was some tight turns out that downhill portion but I got through it and crossed the line in second. Beautiful course once you pass the uphill. I have never ran on the downhill portion of the course so that was fun to see. Fun day, got the mileage in for the week by cooling down with a great friend and teammate on the Sojourners. Thanks for the company Toni it made the run go by a lot quicker. Still trying to go after the allusive #1 rock, only one shot left this year.
