Great day for racing. I was ready to take my first win for the series but unfortunately Derek Moody showed up and kicked everybody's trash :) I was still feeling the marathon in my legs and definitely did a lot of walking up dry fork canyon. I started out in 5th place and gradually worked my way up to 2nd before dry fork canyon. I was doing pretty good on the uphill past dry fork and putting some distance on Thomas but once the downhill came he caught me and passed me like I was standing still. Need to work on my downhill racing. Even though I didn't win it was still cool to win a prize from the raffle. Amber and Tyson put on a great trail series this year. This was the first time I did all the races in one year. Fun times.
