Highway to Hale

Highway to hale is one of my favorites.
1st the hale center theatre is amazing.  I am stunned by the quality of their plays their actors and directors. The race is well put together, the only thing that they could do better is advertise more. They really should have an extra 200-300 people based off how awesome thier race is. However I am glad not many people show up because it raises my chances of winning.
Last year I had two miracle ones and got the grand prize of season tickets so I knew that there was a ton riding on this race.
I got the word that fellow sojourner Scott keate would be in the race-- oh man did this psych me out.  I actually could not sleep before the race.  Yeah this may not sound like a big deal but I am really good at sleeping and meditating my cares away.  Seriously I have had someone attempt to kill me...kill me and that did not shake me I could say my prayers and know that all is well. But scott keate apparently is worse than death.  The grim reaper has not power of itimidation over me but Scott keate makes me shake in my bed sheets.  So  to sum up my race, I was a wreck, my head was unfocused, I was terrified of losing and I got my butt handed to me.  I don't mind loosing the race because hey you can't win them all and there are faster people out there but it was sad to see those season tickets go. Next year, I will have to train rocky style and hope for a better rematch with my modern day apollo creed.
