Utah Valley Marathon

Having Ryan Hall at this race was a real treat. He seems to be a spiritual and humble person.

The race conditions were really ideal. We had sine tall wood and the weather was perfect. I decided to do the race a few days prior, but I felt pretty good going into it. My main goal was to not get beat by Ben Pachev. Unfortunately he killed me, but I feel like I at least came away with my first sold half.  My time was 1:12:47 which is about two and a half minutes faster than I got in the provo city half marathon which has a nearly identical course. The race was super stacked and that time was only good enough to get me in 9th place.
