Freedom Run 5k

This race went a lot better than I expected although it was 30 seconds off my time from last year.  I decided to go out at my usual 5k pace and see how long I could hold it.  That lasted about 1.1 miles, then I died a very slow painful death especially up 9th East - but I'm still happy I came out and did it.  Racing/running is something I love to do and I would have been bummed to have missed out on this race.  Amber did awesome and placed first, passing the UVSC runner with less than a  1/2 mile to go.  I came in third, about 10 seconds behind the UVSC girl.
