Salem Days 5k
On this course (and I have ran this race at least 7-8 years in a row) I have never broken 19 minutes... Today I ran 18:39.7. I was pleasantly surprised! I felt good from the very beginning. One of the college girls I coached was back... her and I were side by side pushing each other for the 1st 2 miles. I was able to pull ahead in the last mile to finish off 1st in women's overall. It was a fun race with good hills in it. It was fun to see Melissa T. there! (Sorry you are getting more pictures...)
